Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using StarRespond ("Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

StarRespond is a SaaS tool that connects to your Google Business Profile, retrieves customer reviews, generates AI-powered reply suggestions, and posts approved replies on your behalf. You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving all replies before they are posted.

3. Account & eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to manage the Google Business Profile you connect.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • You must not share your account credentials or allow others to use your account.

4. Free tier & billing

  • Free tier: New accounts receive 10 free AI reply generations. No credit card is required to start.
  • Pro plan: Unlimited replies for $9/month, billed monthly via Stripe.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial months.
  • Price changes: We will give 30 days' notice before changing subscription prices.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Post replies that are false, misleading, defamatory, or violate Google's review policies.
  • Use the Service to spam, harass, or manipulate reviews.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service's APIs.
  • Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable laws.

6. AI-generated content

Replies are generated by AI and are suggestions only. You are responsible for reviewing every reply before posting. StarRespond makes no warranty that AI-generated replies are accurate, appropriate, or compliant with any platform policies. Any reply you post is your responsibility.

7. Google integration

By connecting your Google account, you authorise StarRespond to access your Google Business Profile data on your behalf. You can revoke this access at any time via Google Account Permissions. StarRespond is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.

8. Intellectual property

StarRespond retains ownership of the Service, software, and branding. You retain ownership of your business data and any content you create. You grant us a limited licence to process your data solely to deliver the Service.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, StarRespond's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@starrespond.com. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes with at least 14 days' notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration under JAMS rules, except you may bring claims in small claims court.
